Back in the Hospital
Hello everyone,
Once again, thank you so much for all your prayers. Mom has been feeling great lately and we are blessed for those good days she has. Unfortunately, today wasn't one of them. Late last night, her arm with the lymphodema became very red, hot and swollen and she had a high fever. As it turns out, she developed an infection in her arm and her Dr. admitted her into the Kaiser Sunnyside hospital this morning. We aren't sure, at this point, how long she will be there - probably until they can find a way to treat the infection.
Like I said, we cherish her good days and we'll take as many of those as God will give us. We are so fortunate for all your love and support. Please feel free to leave comments on our blog. I'll continue to keep you posted on mom's health.
Blessing to all,
Stacey

Hey Mom!
Mom, I want you to know how much I love you. This last month has been so difficult for all of us, but I feel that it's brought us closer together and closer to God. I pray that we all learn to live each day as our last, with love and passion, no matter our circumstances.
Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.
Isaiah 57:1-2 (NLT)
In "A Gentle Thunder", Max Lucado questions those scriptures in Isaiah ... Could death be God's grace? As horrible as the grave may be, could it be God's protection from the future? I thought that was beautiful and wanted to share it with you.
